Director, Digital Marketing
Prestige Brands Holdings, Inc. markets and sells well recognized brand name consumer products in two categories: over-the-counter health care products and household cleaning products. We operate in niche segments within these categories in which the strength of our brand names, our established retail distribution network, a low cost operating model and an experienced management team are key to our success. Our brands are sold throughout the United States, Canada, and in certain international markets.
The Senior Manager, Digital Media will report to the Director, Digital Marketing and, under the direction and guidance of the Director, plan, buy, and execute digital media campaigns for each of Prestige’s consumer healthcare and household products.
- Foster close cooperative relationships with all functions in the company relative to digital marketing. Work with Marketing to deliver media plans and associated deliverables to brand team representatives.
- Evaluate, plan, negotiate, recommend, and purchase digital media programs including but not limited to direct display, programmatic display, video, and direct response (eCommerce).
- Conduct regular vendor reviews and maintain the department’s knowledge base of technologies, services and platforms.
- Deliver frequent performance reports to the digital marketing team and to individual brand team representatives with specific acknowledgements of areas for improvement. Upon authorization, implement all applicable improvements to in-market programs.
- Oversee tagging, trafficking, reporting, and related aspects of campaign execution while managing Digital Media Planner. Augment Digital Media Planner’s responsibilities as needed.
- Authoritatively present trends and developments in digital marketing with the Prestige marketing team and senior management teams.
- Collaborate with both internal and external experts in complementary marketing disciplines such as creative, PR, social, and shopper marketing.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in digital media planning and buying at an agency or in-house brand marketer
- 2+ years managing junior digital media staff
- Strong knowledge of US digital marketing platforms and technologies
- Hands-on expertise in ad tagging and trafficking in Doubleclick Campaign Manager or equivalent ad server
- Strong knowledge of digital media planning parameters and measurement criteria
- Excellent math skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of HTML
