Project Manager (Lynchburg, VA)

We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for supporting our Lynchburg facility cross functional project teams by planning and coordinating project scheduling, leading the execution of site projects, developing timelines, taking meeting minutes during team meetings and performing basic follow up tasks and action items. The role requires entry level project management skills, demonstrated by the ability to facilitate project team meetings within a rapidly evolving, cross-functional, cGMP regulated environment. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the new product introduction process and technical service projects such as cost savings and product reformulations. The role requires strong cross-functional business acumen demonstrated by working with multiple departments such as Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering and Operations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build project timelines with input from team members and change control owners
- Schedule and facilitate regular project team meetings
- Track the completion of team members’ tasks to facilitate accountability
- Develop timelines with input from team members
- Produce and issue meeting minutes and other updates of progress of milestones
- Monitor action items.
- Facilitate team meetings
- Form project teams for approved projects
- Manage the overall execution of project plans
- Issue meeting minutes and updates on progress of projects against milestones
- Support project management activities within Fleet business units
- Perform other related project management duties as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU WILL BRING
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in scientific or business field
- Strong Smartsheet, Word Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- 4-6 years’ experience working in a Project Management environment
- Proven ability to work with cross functional teams
- CPM designation is a plus but not required
